Stopped in for a mocha after a hike. Coffee was very good and the service was decent. Would have left a 5 star but the barista wearing a devil worship... read more shirt threw me off. Not sure that was the best choice of shirts to wear at work. But i guess he can chose his choice of shirt, and i can chose my number of stars.

Day trip to Sperryville to see what the town is like. Much smaller than I anticipated, found this wonderful little cafe right around lunch time.

Though limited... read more in space, there is a parking area behind the deli. Open for breakfast and late lunches with a slight variation for weekday and weekend menus. Not only do they have a nice offering of salads and sandwiches but offer an assortment of local beers and wines. Add to that, in a small side sitting room, you will find a wall of select Virginia wines for sale. What a delightfully delicious remote find this was in the tiny town of Sperryville, VA only a few miles from the National Park's Skyline Drive Thornton Gap entrance.
The village of Sperryville was founded in 1820, and currently has a population of barely over 340. Located near the Appalachian Trail and several Civil War trails, you’re surrounded by a rich history that has inspired artists, brewers, distillers, craftspeople, and many others for two hundred years.
At B&A, locals come to meet and work, while hikers and passers through come to energize before a day of exploring, or to share stories after of the adventures they had.
